The only thing gained from the cost of performance is larger maps (and a few more players i think). Other than graphics, map size, and the commander mechanic, There is absolutely NOTHING improved from the orginal game, in fact there is even less content as of now. Gunplay has not been developed at all but DECLINED, weapons are still hit-scan, and UNREAL engine does not hold a candle to source hit scanning. With that being said this is one of the best feeling shooters I have ever played, when it runs smoothly. The Devs have a lot of work to do on optimization. This can be a good game, but the lead developer/producer really deserves a slap in the face for not foreseeing these problems with UNREAL that EVERY other ♥♥♥♥ing shooter on the market has experienced.. First time i'm leaving a bad review for anything.....but, this game has been a buggy mess from day one and continues to be one! the latest fun is that I can't play because "authentication failed". Needs 10 round stripper clipped SKS as base.. Argh! I want to give this game a positive review, i really do, but in its current state i just can't. The game itself has some really nice mechanics, the sound is phenomenal, the gun play feels really nice......but.....but, its just not in a finished state. After 350+ hours playing i'm growing tired of huge frame drops, stuttering across most maps, a non functioning 'party system', co-op AI that just isn't intelligent (killed close range by a Moisin, and killed at long range by a Browning HP).The devs (I know they are a small team) keep promising updates, but each one fixes a few bugs, but creates more. I'll edit my review after the next patch/update, but for now I'd stay away from this game.CPU: Ryzen 7 2700XGPU: Vega 64 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GBRAM: 16GB @3000mhzSSD: 500 GB. This game is undoubtedly my favorite first person shooter since the other great franchises have lost their vision. However, it still has bugs that have not been worked out in the months that I have had it. These include spawning into the line of fire or too close to enemies, having parts of the map or your weapons take 30-60 seconds into the game before they load completely, and crippling lag for the whole server regardless of how good your ping is. These do not happen often, and it is very enjoyable to play, but they do happen every 3 games or so for a short while and it gets very annoying. I definitely recommend this game, but developers PLEASE FIX these issues.. Solid gameplay, not enough content. If they add Workshop support I will change my review.. The game finder keeps joining you into games that are seconds away from ending, then you just get kicked back to main menu again to start the process over again.
